I'm so sad right now... I finished this book way too fast and now I'm gonna have to wait for the next one. I'm usually good at taking breaks from reading here and there. But it's that good! I'm so in love with the characters and the universe this series is set in. I definitely recommend it to anyone who loves the fantasy genre. And if you love Scarlet and Liall as much as I do and can't wait until the next book, there's a French version available for those who can understand it. I'm looking forward to receiving mine in the mail, so I can re-read this amazing story from the beginning. Again, I highly recommend Kirby Crow's Scarlet and the White Wolf. I can't wait for the next volume! :)

While I am a fan of this series, I am really disappointed that the author and/or the publisher opted to break book 4 and book 5 into two separate books. Both books are simply fillers and could easily have been combined into a single book. Very little happens in either book and I'm sure this was financial decision to charge us for two rather than a single book. There was very little progress made in the story line and I saw very little difference between books 4 and 5 (yes, we are on the march to war...still...does the march really merit two dedicated books?). Perhaps more thought should be given to your fans/readers than attempting to gouge us for more money.

Given that I read both 4 and 5 in just under 3 days, I would say these last two books are much too short and would have been much better received as a single volume. I am hoping that book 6 will get us back on-track and be worthy of the first 3 books in the series.
I love this series. Keeps me on edge and scarlet and kills love is breathtaking. Can't wait for the next book.
Great read as always with this series. Only thing I can say was I thought it moved a little slow. That said I'm excited for the next book!
Another great edition to Scarlet and Lial’s story. Makes up for the last entry’s relative brevity and abrupt ending. The entire series has been a surprise in terms of depth, characterization, and the scope of the work. I look forward to the next novel in the series.
I think it’s extrodinary when a writer can create characters that resonate and remain with you long after the book has been read and lovingly placed on the bookshelf. The continuation of Liall and Scarlet’s story is like revisiting old friends...exasperating, frustrating but always loved old friends. I’m eagerly awaiting book six but also sad that their story may be coming to an end.
I waited for what seemed like forever for this book to come out and I wasn't disappointed. This book pulls at your emotions a bit due to the choices some characters make but that's what makes it a good story. I'm not going to say anything more, you'll just have to read it. Its probably going to be a long wait for the next book but I'm certain it will be worth it.
